Andreas

Glad

Andreas has spent the last 15 years making VFX for games. It is indeed the only real job he's ever had. After spending a few years in the UK working at Eurocom and Codemasters, he returned to Sweden to work on larger and more explosive games. Fast forward to 2016. He recently left DICE, where he was the associate lead VFX artist on 'Battlefield 1'.

He's currently engaged in teaching VFX techniques alongside his work with Partikel. This can  be  on Pluralsight, or by attending a presentation. Check out some samples under Resources!

Andreas works hard. He cares about what he's building. Whenever parachuted into any area, he moved the needle. Every level, mechanic or cinematic shot Andreas touched would suddenly come alive. It would look great. It would read in-game as what it was supposed to be. It would be within the technical budget. And yeah - it would look cool.  - Eric Holmes, Design Director DICE
